Mondo

Went to Mondo this weekend with my good pal Chloe! (in case you don't know, Mondo is a giant festival of nerds, aka. unicyclers and juggelers  and comedians and one knife thrower. It was a really fun show! The knife thrower guy had one bald guy stand next to a board, put one arm in front of the board and hold a cucumber (long ways) across his arm. Then the knife thrower dude threw the knife through the cuke without cutting of the guys arm! it was awesome!

There was also this girl with a light up hulahoop who did some awesome tricks while in the dark!  She had cute short blonde hair and shopped at urban outfitters so i love her!

Weekend

Felt like i should update my blog, Don't have much to say, Cleaned my room so now it is spotless.

Sent a letter to my bestest pen pal Marge.

Did my stupid health homework. (a brochure on post-traumatic stress disorder)

I do not have post-traumatic stress disorder.

FIVE MINUTES

five minutes. that's how much of my favorite show I missed today. Too bad that five minutes was the most important five minutes within the whole hour!
To all of you (2) people who read my blog AND have watched house md before, you know that in the beginning of every episode is when they show somebody almost dying and how it happened and where they were and who they are. Then it flashes to house and his team and shows how they get the case with the person you just saw getting dangerously sick. Then the rest of the episode is about house curing the sick guy and various other things like foreman or 13 getting fired. WEll I missed the beginning so i had No Idea who the priesty guy was or anything fur like most of the episode. AND thirteen quit!!!  so now i am very sad. But i am going to go eat some ice cream and then perhaps i will feel better.

bruises

okay when you see my title you probably thought this was about Rihanna and Chris brown and him biting her and all that crap, but sadly it is not because I know absoultely nothing about that. I will have to go look it up right after this, but anyways, I was just going to say that I have a bruise on my thigh from tubing with Margaret. But I would gladly take the bruise in exchange for the lovely night we had. Especially the the mcdonald's hot fudge sundae. seriously people those things r frickin awesome.

Book Club

Hello everyone I'm just making this post to remind yal about the bookclub. I probably shouldn't say the date and stuff online but I will tell you the book we are reading is My Sister's Keeper. It's a pretty big book but it looks good and dramatic! Oh! and does anyone have ideas for what kind of food to eat? It'd be kinda cool if it had a theme.

The Dangers of the Workout Room

Today I chipped my tooth. Which sucks because now i won't have a perfect movie star smile. Just kidding, I wouldn't have that anyways :). But it's sad just the same and it feels funny and i wish it would go away.
Don't ask how it happened. It's horrible. Okay i'll tell you anyways, I was on a dip machine (well it's actually not a machine just a bunch of metal bar but I didn't know what to call it) and I was swinging my legs on it getting ready to actually do some dips, when I lost my balance, went swinging out of control, and smacked my jaw on the bar. And now I have a chipped tooth. Ik. I will probably cry myself to sleep everynight from now on! :(

7/8c MONDAY NIGHTS

House MD

(to clarify for those of you lame enough not to know what this show is, it is two things:

1. the best show in the world.

and 2. the best show in the world.)

simple enough?

Summary: House is a t.v. show (mon. 8/7 c on FOX) about a irritable doctor with a bum leg which keeps him in pain and has also turned him into a vicadin addict. He has no real friends, except maybe Wilson who is a doctor specializing in cancer at the same hospital.

In the show, Gregory house (the rude doctor who stops at nothing to solve the puzzles of patients' mysterious illnesses) is played by british actor Hugh Laurie. (who does an incredible american accent) House's team who often takes care of the deets House hates (like talking to patients) is made up of Dr. Cameron, a beautiful, kind, and good doctor who has a soft spot for terminal patients, (because of her past) played by Jennifer Morrison, Dr. Chase, also a good doctor, with a pathetic side and nice hair played by Jesse Spencer, and Dr. Foreman, the most opinionated of the bunch played by Omar Epps. (the show recently added some new doctors to the group after the previous team was disbanded (chase was fired, and cameron who was dating chase at the time quit. Both peeps are now working in different parts of the hospital) The new team includes: Dr. Foreman, Dr. Remey or "thirteen" who is played by Olivia Wilde, Dr. Taub, played by Peter Jacobson, and Dr. Lawrence played by Kal Penn. Together House and his team take on particularily confusing cases that House prefers to solve with multiple risky medicines, precedures and tests. The show has developed from season to season with forming relationships to dying friendships but it never crosses the line from American Medical Drama, to cheap soap.
